Deborah (Debbie) Clarke was inducted into the Waxhaw Lions Club in November 2018 and has been an active and impactful member ever since. A proud graduate of the City University of New York at Lehman College, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics.

Debbie is a Diamond Life Member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., reflecting her lifelong commitment to public service, community engagement, and social advocacy. She brings that same passion to her professional career, where she has excelled for over 24 years at Bank of America. Currently, she serves as Vice President, Product Consultant and Governance Lead, where she provides strategic oversight and leadership on key initiatives.

Within the Waxhaw Lions Club, Debbie has made significant contributions, most notably by spearheading one of the club’s most successful fundraisers for multiple years. Her leadership, dedication, and results-driven approach have helped strengthen both the club’s impact and its community presence.

In 2018, Debbie married her high school sweetheart, Edwin Calderon. Together, they share a love for travel and culture and are looking forward to relocating to Spain in the near future.
